the challenge

A legacy of brand assets stored in different places and no apparent single source of truth, employees and external partners struggled to find the right, on-brand materials, risking inconsistency in the creation of new brand collateral.

the solution

I led the business case, vendor selection and full implementation of a centralised brand portal, working with IntelligenceBank as the chosen vendor to give the business one single home for its brand assets.

highlights

integrated brand portal

As the company grew and more individual departments and teams required help to create on-brand collateral, the brand team needed to think smartly to enable teams across the business to self-serve without going off-brand. We had our brand guidelines on one platform, our +45,000 images on another platform, and our brand assets elsewhere.

A centralised brand portal with access to everything was the logical step. I researched various options, conducted interviews with different vendors and mapped our needs, selecting one platform - IntelligenceBank - to consolidate all existing assets, brand guidelines and workflows.

the impact

One source of truth for the company’s brand assets – searchable, consistent, and built around how people work, replacing a fragmented system with a centralised one considered from the ground up.

business case and vendor selection

from idea to live platform

Once the work started with IntelligenceBank, I mapped every existing brand asset across the business – more than 45,000 photos, graphic design files, iconography and brand guidelines – and coordinated the full transfer from the old platforms, making sure nothing was lost in the move.

Good navigation was key to getting our people to feel confident about adopting the portal. I mapped how different teams across the business accessed brand materials day to day, then designed a tagging and keyword system robust enough to reflect the full breadth of Ventia’s operations, built around multiple access points, so someone could find what they needed in whichever way they thought to look for it. To tie the visual experience together, I created a set of custom icons in Canva for coherence across the platform.

Throughout the process, I worked closely with internal stakeholders to catch gaps before they became problems, and led the internal communications campaign to introduce the new portal – ensuring adoption felt manageable from day one.

Introducing the idea of one platform - I created a humorous animation as a simple and relatable way to tell the story and get our people on board.
