/ part of: strategic brand stewardship
the challenge
With offices, warehouses and remote camps spread across Australia and New Zealand, keeping brand messaging clear and consistent across every digital touchpoint was its own communications challenge.
the solution
I built out SharePoint pages that translated our brand narrative into a clear, visual structure and drove the transformation of the weekly internal newsletter from an email into an animated, screen-ready format – extending brand storytelling to platforms it hadn’t reached before.

digital storytelling across platforms

Ventia’s company intranet, ‘InVent’, could be seen as an interface for internal communication and a platform for brand narrative and organisational cohesion in its own right.
I helped build out many of its SharePoint pages with this particular viewpoint, ensuring each page not only was visually pleasing and easy to navigate, but also translated how its particular area of the business sat within the wider organisation, so the story stayed coherent and the digital footprint stayed sustainable.
the impact
Brand storytelling extended into spaces it hadn’t reached before, from an intranet structure that people could navigate intuitively, to a newsletter format so popular that teams across the business actively asked to be part of it.
visual organisation on the intranet
from newsletter to digital screen
The weekly internal newsletter had always been an email format – useful, but increasingly difficult to keep open rates up with a growing business. I drove its transformation into an animated format built for the growing number of digital screens across the organisation’s offices, turning a passive read into something that could catch attention in a hallway or break room.
That meant hands-on production; translating each week’s content into a one-to-two-minute animated sequence, with a vanity link and QR code giving quick access to the full story for anyone who wanted more than the headline. From idea to execution, the format took off fast and became a weekly staple – so popular that other functions and teams began requesting screen time of their own, inspired by its visibility and reach.
