the challenge
The company, a conglomerate of once separate specialist offerings, had no overarching presentation to provide an overview of their services.
the solution
Working with internal stakeholders, I mapped the key information to include in a company presentation, then worked with an external partner agency to create a succinct overview slide deck.

company presentation and powerpoint template

With my love of coming books and visual storytelling, leading a project like the development of a company overview presentation was a privilege and a lot of fun. Not only to condense the story of the company but also to make it visually easy to digest. The point was not to create a dazzling presentation for the sake of graphics, but one that would match the brand voice of the company and make space for a client presentation - something that would come across as clear, self-evident and unassuming.
The presentation became a central document and was updated annually with the latest stats and aligning to the development of the visual expression of the brand. After the initial work by the external agency, I took ownership of updating the document for content and visuals and ensured it was embedded in the company central document library, accessible for all employees.
the impact
The presentation was the item the company had always needed. It became a staple in client meetings, business development and introductions. It inspired the creation of a powerpoint template to match the presentation and enable the employees to create presentations themselves.

Following the creation of the company presentation, the next step was to create a PowerPoint presentation template that would easily complement the existing document. I worked with key stakeholders across the business to identify the slide types needed.
Like the initial company presentation, this became a business staple and I worked with the IT department to embed it as a central document in the company document library and later became the default in the company PowerPoint application.
Together with a colleague, I co-developed and -hosted a company-wide training workshop to educate our people in using the template to its maximum capacity; quickly transforming off-brand slides to match the brand instead, and work with the company AI agent to develop on-brand slides in a matter of minutes. As a bonus, we invited a colleague from another team to host a section about presentation tricks.
As with the 'brand camp' session (insert link), the workshop was organised as a full internal campaign: a Teams webinar, a dedicated SharePoint page on the our intranet ‘Brand Hub’, a featured Viva Engage post, and an announcement in the company-wide newsletter two weeks out. The workshop was popular and we built a dedicated resource page on the Brand Hub with the recorded session and links to further tools and resources.

The company presentation in different iterations, 2022-2025. Key was to present essential information and a short and succinct overview, as the presentation would often be used in conjunction with other presentations.

The PowerPoint template was a user-friendly extension to easily adapt with the company presentation and help employees create high-quality, on-brand presentations.
