Indispensable to a rural town, and neighbour to the iconic Abracadabra shop, the Liberty Gas Station provides fuel to community and passers-through alike, day in and day out. Smaller than the big branches, it looks easy to ignore, but is often cheaper than the big ones and offers some great snack options on a Friday night.
My grandparents had a gas station in a rural town where I would go every weekend as a child, so this motif has a special place in my heart.
Lovingly hand carved and hand printed and signed by the artist.
A5 on 220g paper.
Part of series: Love letters to Bangalow
Part of bundle: Bangalow Main Street
Each of these prints has been produced by hand, from the initial designing and cutting of the lino to the inking and printing. As a result, each print is unique with its own character and distinguishing marks.
I only print a few editions of each colour.
