The amazing annual Bangalow Billycart Derby offers test runs for all the homemade billycarts in the morning.
Racing down the long hill of Byron Street, kids and parents test their carts flanked by hay stacks on both sides of the road, put up the night before by local volunteers. Afterwards, the carts are dragged up again for another run.
The day is a celebration and brings thousands of people in from the local area and beyond. A coffee on the terrace of the local coffee shop, “Sparrow”, offers the best morning views of the local festivities.
Lovingly hand carved and hand printed and signed by the artist.

Each of these prints has been produced by hand, from the initial designing and cutting of the lino to the inking and printing. As a result, each print is unique with its own character and distinguishing marks.
I only print a few editions of each colour.
